14. Land’s End

February 2, and we had  a 2.5 mile dog walk on the path at Land’s End, the tip of San Francisco before the Golden Gate Bridge. It was cloudy and foggy, typical SF weather, and a little drizzle started at the end of our walk. Time to binge watch This is Us.

Later we went to a movie at a theater in Japantown, followed by authentic Japanese food.  Here’s a sample: unagi donburi (fresh water eel over rice), shrimp tempura, pot stickers, Katsu curry, yakisoba (pan fried noodles with veggies and pork), and lots of green tea.

There is a lovely Peace Park in the middle of Japan town, something we all agree that the  world needs right now: witness the cover of the New Yorker this week– “Liberty’s Flame Out.”
