Took the street car from Taraval to Union Square, one of our favorite spots in downtown San Francisco.
Stopped for an espresso and a gelato (yes, you know us Italians!) and a little people watching.
Powell Street is famous for its cable cars, but we’ve been on them before and decided to pass on the $7 fee this time, and leave that for the tourists!
Met Mat who took us on a tour of Sunset’s breweries: yummy fish and chips and calamari with a nice IPA! Best beer and fish n chips: Sunset Reservoir Brewery. Best ambiance: Park Chalet outdoors in Golden Gate Park.
